Prof. Dr. Dionysios Tsichritzis, obtained a PhD from Princeton University and worked as Professor of Computer Science at the University of Toronto in Canada, and the University of Geneva  in Switzerland. Ha was a Vorstandsvorsitzener of GMD, a Grossvorschungseinrichtung and later a Vorstandsmitglied of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft in Germany.  He worked then as General Manager ESRO for RICOH, a large Japanese conglomerate. He is currently President of the Council, Technical University of Crete, GREECE.
