The EUDAT Training Session will take place on the morning of the 2 April 2014. This course will introduce the fundamentals of data infrastructures, and will describe EUDAT's data services. For each service, the course will explain what the service does, what the advantages of using such a service would be, and how you can use the service. The course will then go on to discuss some topics - such as persistent identifiers - in more detail, and explain more about why they are important. The persistent identifiers will be presented in the context of the Greek PID service operated by GRNET and made available to all world regions via the CHAIN-REDS project.
